Can someone recommend a good digital camera for the average person.?
I just took back a Poloroid .would not hold a charge. So I know what I dont want.

The Canon Powershots are a great camera for my money.brI have had HP cameras and every single one of them broke!brBought a Nikon Coolpix on overstock.com, and it broke the very first time I turned it on!brI had a Samsung that the LCD screen broke on, it was replaced and eventually given to my youngest daughter.brI bought the megapixel Canon Powershot and love it!brIt has a wide variety of settings and modes, works really well and is as easy on batteries as any digital camera I have had.brIt takes the AA rechargeable which I feed with the hour recharge kind. The money you save on batteries alone makes it worth getting the hour recharge kind.brPicture quality is outstanding, flash pictures work well.brThe camera is just about as good as any regular user is liable to need, you can blow up a megapixel pretty big without getting grainy pictures.brMy year old and year old daughter both take great pictures with this camera also.brIf you do your shopping homework you can get the megapixel under dollars, or thereabouts... A heck of a lot of camera for the money.
