is it true that if u pay more u can buy the iphone g without a contract? and if is true wat good is it for if u cant have nothing else except for atampt?

I think that could be an eventuality but as of right now, when its lauched on July th unlike the iPhone you cant walk in, buy it amp go home and activate via iTunes or unlock on your own.brThis time you have to buy it amp activate it before leaving the store. No online orders available either.brbrThis seems to be a deterent that would benefit ATampT as they would be the only s to be able to use the G iPhone, as you cant leave the store without setting up a year contract.brbrPersonally this sucks as I was set to buy an iPhone, unlock it amp be good to go, but now I cant, and even if I wanted to buy the st gen iPhone I cant either as its sold out amp no longer being manufactured or available for online purchase.
