Im and have been turned away from my local news paper for a photography job. Should i give up on it?

See if there is a camera club in your city or area. Take some classes in photography. Do research on what types of careers are available. Dont give up if it is something you like you can always learn more. I worked as a photojournalist for a newspaper and enjoyed it, but I was in my s. Then, years later won a Kodak honorable mention award at a show in New York really, really far away from where I am in Canada. brSo, things can happen. See if there are any local contests. I used to enter photos at our local fair. No big prize money, but it was fun to see what kinds of pics I won over, and which I lost to.
