Are you supposed to use toothpaste if you have an electric toothbrush?
we had a braun one before, and I am thinking of getting a whitening one... see linky thing below

Yes, use toothpaste. You may find you need slightly less owing to the superior cleaning action of the electric brush, and the foaming action it produces. Incidentally, the foam bit is uneccessary, and is put in by the manufacturers to make us feel that we are doing a good cleaning job. Most whitening toothpastes dont do such a great job, imo. Id stick with a tried and tested brand like Colgate Total which does a good job of cleaning AND protecting.
