Can the principal keep my ipod touch?
hi, i just bought an ipod touch and i gave it to one of my friends to look at it while i was on a computer in the computer lab during lunch break, the tacher didnt mind. so, he opened a game and before i could pursuade him to stop it, we ended up in the hallway while he was trying to figure it out. a math teacher saw him and took it away, we said it was mine and he said that it would go to th principal and that i could have it back at the end of the day. so i acceoted it and dint argue and went to class as usual. so, i went up to the principal at the end of the dy today and asked him for it. i was very kind and i have never done something so bad that i have to go to the principal, and i have never even used an ipod or phone in school time before so i expected it back. the principal said i could have it back at the end of the day TOMORROW, not today, so i acccepted it and went to my bus to go home. the point is that is he allowed to keep it from me, taking into account i have never had to go to him or to the deputy principal, and i have never used a phone or ipod in school before. also, the school policy in the handbook says that the first time tech is taken from a student it will be returned at th end of the SAME day, not the next. any help appreciated, and i know how you feel if its happened to you
